Sutter Buttes painting has been RETURNED!

If you have been following this saga, you are aware of the fact that New Earth Market invited me to share my artwork in their onsite cafe though the month of December 2024, and that someone walked in keeping their head down, took the painting off of the wall, and walked out of the store with my 48"x24" (yes, that's FOUR feet wide by two feet tall). After going to the store and asking for surveillance footage and making a police report, I posted what had happened on social media. The community jumped into action and spread the post far and wide. It was humbling and I very much appreciated the support. Immediately tips started coming in with people sending me, and law enforcement, information on who they believe had taken the art, based upon the shared surveillance footage. I guess that is where the story needs to pause for now, as some details are still being investigated. The most important thing I wanted to share was a huge THANK YOU to my community for spreading the word about this crime. It was their doing that pressured the thief to see that the painting was safely returned, and I am grateful for their help.
