Sutter Buttes, Original Oil Painting (48"x24")

A friend took a beautiful reflective photograph of the Sutter Buttes, with the reflection of the landscape caught in the water of a flooded rice field. I have been wanting to complete a painting of this local landmark; The world's smallest mountain range. As soon as I saw the photo, I knew I wanted to paint it. "Sutter Buttes" is 48"x24" on a gallery wrapped canvas. Despite completing numerous portraits, this is the first landscape that I have completed.
